PLS will pay for shipping the spent lamp cages, via UPS Ground, from your institution to our Bohemia, NY facility. Just contact us when you have a minimum of 5 spent projector lamp cages (please pre-package them and label each with the make and model of the projector from which it was taken ) and we will arrange to have UPS pick up the pre-packaged lamp cages, on us! Remember to include our Recycling Service Request Form, or ReLamping Order Form with every shipment.
PLS will recycle the projector bulbs and cages, free of charge .
PLS will provide you with documentation that indicates your adherence to
federal and state mandated Mercury recycling. This documentation will serve as proof of recycling for your maintenance records. All components will be re-used or recycled, making PLS more than a disposal center, but a true recycling center.
PLS Projector Bulb Recycling is currently developing special recycling programs for schools and universities that provide incentives for recycling projector lamp assemblies, including relamping trial orders with recycling participation. For more information, and incentive qualifications, please contact PLS Projector Bulb Recycling Center at 631-244-0051 ext 104 or info@relampit.com .
