About Projector Lamp Services

Projector Lamp Services, LLC (PLS) relamps and recycles spent front and rear projector lamp modules.  Before forming an independent company, PLS began as a relamping department within a larger manufacturing corporation.  One of the focuses of this company was projector bulb manufacturing.  This makes PLS the ONLY RELAMPER WHO BEGAN AS A LAMP MANUFACTURER.  There has been some concern expressed in the industry about the safety and quality associated with re-manufactured lamp assemblies.  However, PLS understands the hazards and intricacies associated with the lamps.  Safety and quality are our primary concerns, and we back that up with a 90 day warranty.   Our relamping service offers our customers an alternative to purchasing costly new replacement lamps- we reduce waste and reduce cost!

Most AV users are aware of the high cost associated with replacement projector lamps.  Both rear and front projector price have been dropping dramatically over the past few years; one would assume the lamp prices would follow suit.  This has not been the case.  New projector lamps can cost anywhere from $300 to $600 or more.  That's when PLS can help!  Using PLS to re-lamp your projector can save 30-50% or more off the cost of a new lamp.

Additionally, disposing of an entire spent lamp assembly is wasteful and environmentally harmful.   Relamping and recycling projector lamps helps AV users to minimize their environmental impact.  By relamping a projector lamp, PLS re-uses multiple components, thereby reducing waste and eliminating additional manufacturing costs.   PLS also recycles the internal glass burner, which contains mercury.  This eliminates the possibility of this toxic element from entering the environment.  Furthermore, by refurbishing a projector lamp that has been discontinued, one is extending the life of his projector and preventing it from becoming more waste.

Using remanufactured projector lamps cuts both replacement lamp cost and projector or TV down time. At this time, the demand for projector replacement lamps is starting to exceed the supply. PLS keeps a wide variety of replacement projector bulbs available, allowing PLS to keep lead-time to a minimum while being able to service most projectors on the market. PLS's re-lamping process has been developed and tested to ensure optimal lamp performance, low cost and quick delivery.
